Since the 1550s, Hispanic Christians have honored Mary and Joseph's search for shelter on the eve of the birth of Christ with a posada. The celebration is the re-enactment of their journey. This year's Christmas posada begins at the Pueblo Convention Center. The public is invited to join the procession or wait for it at the County Courthouse. The Guadaloupe Dancers will perform at 3:30 p.m. at the Convention Center, and the Pueblo Choral Society at the courthouse at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free, and the procession will begin at 4 p.m.
