Christkindl Market

Travel to Denver for the eighth annual Christkindl Market, providing four weeks of traditional German holiday spirit. Amidst the warming scents of goulash and strudel in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center's west-end courtyard, you'll find craft demonstrations, local entertainment and German gifts for sale.

Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series and Women's Alpine World Cup

Aspen/Snowmass celebrates the return of the Women's World Cup of Skiing by filling a weekend with music, fireworks and parties. The downhill race kicks off the weekend on Friday, followed by the super G on Saturday and the slalom on Sunday. Also on Saturday: Blues Traveler, the first of many renowned bands to come through Aspen/Snowmass for the free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series, which will continue through March.

17th annual Aspen Film Academy Screenings

This series is a showcase of films actively vying for Academy Award consideration, ranging from international flicks to new releases. Works by Francis Ford Coppola, Denzel Washington and Woody Allen, to name a few, will be shown, in addition to documentaries and animated features.

Ouray Ice Festival

Dubbed "the biggest ice-climbing event this side of the puddle," this festival features exciting competition between the world's best ice climbers and snowshoe racers, more than 80 clinics for adults and children, nightly dinners, parties and more. Snow Sculpture Championships

The premier winter action-sports event returns to Aspen/Snowmass, featuring events such as snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling and more. Athletes from around the globe will be competing for coveted medals and prize money.

Head to Durango for five days filled with a singles auction, the Polar Beer Plunge, bed races, wine tasting, fireworks, various contests and many, many other things sure to keep you busy and entertained.

17th annual U.S. Extreme Freeskiing Championships

Jumps and spins are not just for experienced snowboarders. Freeskiing encompasses some of the same tricks that snowboarders use, and is all about having fun. Crested Butte kicks off its 17th year of freeskiing competition with the largest cash purse and prizes on the circuit.
