Whitesnake

When: Mon., June 15 2015

Here he goes again on his own, traveling down the only road he's ever known! Well, technically, David Coverdale isn't alone — given that the shaggy British emigre has his band Whitesnake along for the ride — but he'll be doing it without the guitar heroics of recently departed henchman Doug Aldrich, or the car-hood writhings of video-vixen Tawny Kitaen. Even so, the former Deep Purple frontman should have no problem pleasing vintage hard-rock fans during Whitesnake's 7:30 p.m. show at the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade Ave., pikespeakcenter.com; tickets start at $55.50), where he can draw upon late-'80s power-ballads like "Is This Love" and, of course, "Here I Go Again," as well as selections from his brand-new collection of "reimagined" Deep Purple classics. — Bill Forman
