At 7:30 tonight, the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade Ave., hosts Video Games Live, featuring music from popular video games performed by world-renowned orchestras and choirs. Co-creator Tommy Tallarico says the event has "all the power and emotion of a symphony orchestra combined with the energy [and] excitement of a rock concert mixed together with all the cutting edge visuals, technology, and interactivity that video games provide." For gamers and non-gamers, this extravaganza has exclusive video footage, synchronized lighting, well-known Internet solo performers, and unique interactive segments, all performed to the beats of memory-embedded songs from Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, World of Warcraft and God of War. — Kiki Lenihan
