Joe Padilla has taken the role of owner/operator of the Valley Hi Grill and Pub (610 Chelton Road, facebook.com/ValleyHiGrillandPub), attached to Valley Hi Golf Course, as of October of 2016. He’s been in the food industry for over 20 years now, since he was 15 years old. Most recently, he spent eight years as the owner of the Texas T-Bone on South Academy. Since the takeover, he’s renovated the kitchen and changed the menu to one focused on American comfort food, with a full breakfast menu including pancakes and omelets, sandwiches and burgers at lunch, and a dinner menu that adds steaks, fish and ribs. The restaurant is open to the public seven days a week — golfing is optional.
