Tribute to WWI

When: July 20-25 2009

People in old black-and-white films are funny. I'm not quite sure why, but it might be because of their knickerbockers. With that said, there's nothing better than watching men in knickerbockers fly through the (arguably) friendly skies. The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum (31001 Magnuson Ave., Pueblo, kicks off its Tribute to WWI by screening a movie starring famous aviators Orville and Wilbur Wright today at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (And yes, in the Wright brothers video I watched on YouTube, knickerbockers were involved.) The tribute continues through Saturday with films and presentations daily. Daily admission is $7 for adults; children under 10 are free. (An annual $20 membership buys unlimited access.) — Ken Voeller
