Trans-Siberian Orchestra

When: Wed., Dec. 14 2011

When I think about Trans-Siberian Orchestra, I think about how the gods of progressive thematic rock opera have blessed our city. Consider the plight of Green Bay, Wis. Devoted fans of the head-bangingest Christmas elves this side of Will Ferrell on a rocking horse won't get to see the band this season, for the second year in a row, due to scheduling conflicts, reports the Green Bay Press-Gazette. It's like Heaven poured forth its green, red and white stage light upon everybody but the cheeseheads. So count your blessings, Colorado Springs, and catch some bliss at the World Arena (3185 Venetucci Blvd., at 4 and 8 today; tickets start at $48. — Bryce Crawford
