The surREALism Exhibition

When: Feb. 5-26 2016

You walk through the door. There is a piece of bread on the wall. Its hair is long and brown, reaching partway down the wall. There is music playing over the speakers. You try to tap along with your foot but find yourself half a beat off every measure. Is this a dream? Are the drugs kicking in? Nope, it's just another exhibit at The Modbo and S.P.Q.R. Swing by and check out The SurREALism Exhibition, a collection of surrealist works from local artists like Davoth, Sean O'Meallie, Cymon Padilla and Lindsay Hand. Also look for a sculpture by Andy Tirado, whose piece "Lacuna" was deemed the best contribution to Art on the Streets 2014. 5:30 p.m., 17B/C E. Bijou St., free, — Griffin Swartzell
