Tony Allen, “Push and Pull” (single): Fela’s legendary afrobeat drummer adopts an upbeat New Orleans brass-band style for this instrumental from his forthcoming album The Source, which will also include guest piano by Damon Albarn.

Twiztid, Haunted High-Ons (comic book): Detroit’s ICP-inspired Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric have turned themselves into comic book characters, which isn’t that big a stretch. Although no match for The Archies’ team-up with The Ramones, it’s perfect for those who prefer Juggalos over Jughead.
