The Kitchen

When: Oct. 16-18 2014

Three decades before Iron Chef, there was The Kitchen. A dark comedy by Arnold Wesker — who has been described as one of "the angriest of Britain's Angry Young Men" — the play depicts a day in the life of low-wage restaurant workers feverishly trying to keep up with the demands of an upper-class West End clientele. The Colorado College Theatre and Dance Department's production runs though Saturday at the Cornerstone Art Center's Norberg Studio Theatre (825 N. Cascade Ave.). General admission tickets are $5, available at the Worner Student Center, and you can find a full performance schedule at tiny.cc/zlefnx. — Bill Forman
