The Fray announce free Red Rocks date



Former Colorado Springs high school kids The Fray — who once proclaimed in their liner notes that “3 am Waffle House on Fillmore, it doesn't get better" — have announced that they’ll be playing a free concert at Red Rocks on June 26. The all-ages show will also feature performance by “Southwest's Artists on the Rise,” whose identities are still shrouded in mystery.

Tickets for the free Fray date will become available on Friday, June 2, at 8 a.m. MST at, or by calling 888.929.7849.

Meanwhile, for the first time in recent memory, we’ve received absolutely zero notifications of tickets going on sale this Friday, Saturday, or, for that matter, anytime in the future. Could this be the end of the live music industry as we know it?
