Territory Days

When: May 24-26 2014

Thousands of us will manage to set aside time during the long weekend to swing by Territory Days for some brats, brews and lotsa live music (open 10 to 6 today, see tiny.cc/itdvfx for a full weekend schedule). In this, the festival's 39th year, expect the full gamut of Western-tinted, family-friendly fun — gold panning, Wild West gunfighters, pony and train rides for the kiddies — along with street-fair standards. Admission is free, as is the shuttle (running approximately every 15 minutes) from Coronado High School and Rock Ledge Ranch, so come to Old Colorado City (between 23rd and 27th streets, pro-promotions.com) and salute the end of snow season with a frolicsome group sweat. — Mary Jo Meade
