In this restorative and contemplative hour-long class, students practice a slow, gentle flow including foundational postures designed to open and expand those areas most likely to be constricted on a daily basis (i.e. the hips, shoulders, and chest) for the first half. The second half is spent in restorative poses, fully supported with props, where the goal is not stretching or strengthening, but rather, releasing habitual tension stored in our bodies. Participants remain in passive poses for 8-10 minutes allowing for the tension living deeply within the body to release. This class offers the opportunity for deep healing.
