- Strawberry-black pepper-vanilla gin, infusing on the left, mixed with Benedictine and cream soda on the right.
1 bottle (750 mL) Lee Spirits Dry Gin
1/4 vanilla bean, whole
2 c. strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced
1 tbsp. simple syrup
1/4 c. black peppercorns, whole
Add gin, vanilla bean, strawberries and simple syrup to a 1 liter mason jar. Cover tightly and store somewhere dark for two days. Remove strawberries, then add peppercorns to gin. Cover tightly and store somewhere dark for one more day. Strain to remove peppercorns and vanilla.
