Springs Beer Fest

With a crowd in excess of 4,000 people, the Springs Beer Festival stands as one of the city's largest annual beer events. Now in its 10th year, and again hosted at America the Beautiful Park, the fest features more than 55 breweries. That's a mix of locals like Fieldhouse, Fossil and Triple S and big boys like New Belgium, Elysian, and Magic Hat. Sample all you can given the long lines, alongside food trucks and vendors, plus music by bands Last Minute (funk, rock) and Out of Nowhere (bluegrass). Proceeds benefit the CraftWorks Foundation (an arm of CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries, parent company of Rock Bottom, Old Chicago and more) which in part provides community service programs.
