Senga Nengudi Artist & Curator Talk and Catalog Release

When: Wed., Oct. 21, 6 p.m. 2015

We told you about former UCCS faculty member Senga Nengudi's Improvisational Gestures a while back — hopefully, you've already made a visit. Her work is the kind that makes you rethink how you really feel about art. The exhibit is open until the beginning of December, but tonight you have a chance to get an inside perspective at GOCA 1420 (1420 Austin Bluffs Pkwy., uccs.edu/~goca) with Senga Nengudi in Conversation with Curators and catalog release party. Co-curators Nora Burnett Abrams and Elissa Auther sit down with the internationally renowned artist tonight at 6. It's free to attend, but seating is limited, so register online at ow.ly/TvvmB. A catalog dedicated to Nengudi's work will also be available for sale. — Craig Lemley
