What's the top story for 2005? The hurricane. It spread out the inhabitants of a city all over the United States and dramatically changed so many people's lives.
Who most merits this year's Media Knucklehead award? I don't watch TV or listen to the radio.
What shouldn't you have done this year? Go to Paris. My college, Stony Brook, screwed me over for a few thousand dollars in this program at the Sorbonne, where the rent was raised as soon as we got there, and we got no help in registering for classes. I left after a week or so.
What's your resolution for 2006? To publish a chapbook of my poetry.
Did you keep this year's resolution? Personally, I slept through New Year's.

Who is the top political knucklehead of 2005? President Bush. I'm not happy about us being in Iraq, or how the war's being conducted. We should pull out as fast as we can and bring our boys home.
What do you regret having done this year? I locked myself out of the house yesterday, and lost my cell phone on Monument Valley Trail last week.
What do you wish you'd done? Some motor home-ing to national parks.
What's your '06 resolution? To be less critical and judgmental, be more open-minded, face conflict more instead of avoid it, and be on time more.
Did you keep this year's resolution? Yes. It was to exercise more, and I did.
