"Same Tree, Different Day"

When: Fri., April 15, 5-8 p.m. 2016

Take a photo of something every day for a year and the way you see it will change. Local photographer Mike Pach did just that. In January 2015, he noticed how beautiful a tree outside his kitchen window looked covered in ice and snow. So he took a photo. Then, he did it again the next day, then the next day, and so on until a full year had passed and he had 365 photos of that tree. Today — Arbor Day, appropriately enough — he's doing a presentation on his experience and how a little art project turned into "a metaphor for life." To accompany the presentation, Pach has arranged for refreshments, including Bristol beer and wine from Sovereignty Wines, which will be served gratis from the event start until they run out, in case environmental awareness isn't reason enough to show.
