Roll Bicycle Art Festival

When: Aug. 12-13, 5-9 p.m. 2016

How will you console yourself this winter, when ice and snow plague our roads and trails, and your bicycle sits sadly in the garage? (Shhh, fat bike lovers, we're not talking to you.) I suggest you fill your house with some snazzy cycling-themed art from the 2016 ROLL Bike Art Festival, which is now in its 12th year. The 2016 festival is two days long and coincides with Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort's grand opening and the Pikes Peak Cycling Hill Climb. Both days will feature a family-friendly Garden of the Gods bicycle tour, amazing art, live music, and food. If you pop in Saturday, you can also get in on the post-ride party for the Pikes Peak Cycling Hill Climb. Art. Bikes. Friends. We think that's a pretty rad way to spend a weekend. 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 13, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, 2 El Paso Blvd., free, rollbikeart.com. — Bridgett Harris
