Rocky Mountain State Games

When: Fri., July 17, Sat., July 18, Sun., July 19, Fri., July 24, Sat., July 25 and Sun., July 26 2015

Today marks the final day of the Rocky Mountain State Games, which has run the past two weekends at locations throughout town, hosting athletes of all ages and abilities. Today, that even includes dogs, who will compete in agility courses at the Norris Penrose Event Center from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You want bows and arrows? Find archery at Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pitches, wickets and creases? Memorial will also host cricket matches throughout the day. Something on wheels? Inline speed skating happens at Skate City from 6 a.m. to noon. And if last week's article on stand-up paddleboarding piqued your interest, stop by Prospect Lake between 1 and 6 p.m. All events except basketball and track and field are free for spectators.
