Sylvester Trail- Along the trail, looking up at the "Priest and Nun" rock formation. The trail is easy to follow, with arrows at key points.

Sylvester Trail- The official end of the trail and my turn around point. The trail does continue past this point and by some accounts ends at Castleton Road in Castle Valley. It is at least another mile to Castleton Road.

Fisher Towers- A view down a side canyon on the trail, looking west. The trail goes under some of the biggest rock spires and has great views across a wide valley and to Professor Valley to the west. The rock formations on the Sylvester Trail are visible in the distance in this picture.

Fisher Towers- Although sandy is spots, the trail is mostly on slickrock, and in some places is on a narrow ledge, but is easy to follow and relatively safe when dry. Use caution on the slick rock when wet.

Fisher Towers- At about the half-way point, there is a ladder. This isn't noted on most trail information I found, and I wasn't expecting it. It can pose a challenge if hiking with your dog. You may be able to find a safe way around this ladder, but proceed at your own (and your dogs') risk.

Fisher Towers- The end of the trail is marked with this sign. The trail ends at the point of a long rock mesa. Follow the trail back to the trailhead.
