When: Wed., Oct. 19, 7 p.m. 2011

A 9-year-old bouldering, two men dodging 30-foot exploding icicle bombs as they ice climb, and a race in Yosemite National Park up 3,000 feet of vertical rock in under three hours are not scenes from your typical Brad Pitt blockbuster. They are highlights from the Sixth Annual REEL ROCK Film Tour, which features movies about crazy people doing crazy things in explorations in nature. Tonight's 7 o'clock screening at Colorado College's Armstrong Theatre (14 E. Cache la Poudre St., is one of the tour's 250 stops around the world. Tickets cost $10 for the public and $5 for CC students. — Ellie Cole
