Reader: We need diplomacy

Is our current president the most powerful man in America? It has been one year now and what has his administration accomplished so far?

Are Trump and his policies ruining America? What does he have in store for the next three years? Are his attempts at getting financial and political support for building the Mexican wall ruining our relationship with Mexico? Does it have anything to do with recent attacks on immigrants from that country? Do the officials like ICE just want to control people from other countries like Mexico? And is it an attempt to control the country itself?

In my opinion we do not need an enemy. We need diplomacy. We need to come together as decent, level-headed human beings and work it out. No hate! No prejudice! No unfairness! Just truth and common sense.

I am afraid the current administration lacks those qualities.
