Reader: Try being fair and honest

Fair and honest

Pam Zubeck posted an article about Mike Gould's necktie ("Air Force Academy Endowment chief wears religion on his necktie," The Wire, March 7) and I wonder if she would have the same condemnation if a woman wearing a hijab became the CEO of the Air Force Academy Endowment. Religion should not be forced down the cadets' throats, but inferring that Mike Gould will not do a great job for the AFA because he's a Christian is wrong.

Also, Ms. Zubeck cites the AFA superintendent's rant about racism that was based on a cadet's lie. Using this reference is disingenuous and further hurts this article.

Fair and honest reporting is what your readers are interested in.
