The city and the Switchbacks announced the locations for the downtown stadium and arena recently. I also read recently that the lane removal and restriping of Cascade Avenue will also proceed under [Senior Traffic Engineer] Kathleen Krager's direction.
If the 3,000-seat indoor stadium is to be built on the south end of Colorado College's campus, yet one of the major street accesses will have almost non-existent additional capacity after taking in local commuter traffic, how do the city planners think people are going to access the facility?
How are locals supposed to get to and from their homes during events? Are they planning on changing it back after a year?
