Reader: CDOT is great at listening then doing whatever it wants

In his recent Gazette guest column, Rocky Scott points out that the Colorado Department of Transportation has done an admirable job of listening to individual constituents and county commissioners and responding to emails.

CDOT listens well and then does pretty much what it damn well pleases.

Everyone but CDOT says a resounding "NO" to tolls on The Gap, but Rocky Scott and CDOT, after listening politely, say "Thank you for your opinion and we are going to have tolls."

It is nice to be heard.
