Characterize today's students. Apathetic. They spend way too much time in fantasy worlds, playing video games and watching TV. They're indoors too much, usually seated or prone.
Are today's students more idealistic or materialistic? Everyone wants to conform to some style or other, to pull off a certain look. But teenagers have always been concerned about themselves most their social status and popularity and it'll probably always be that way.
Would you rather be a student back in your day, or now? Back in myday, without a doubt. Today's students have to grow up faster than we did; violence is more prevalent, with metal detectors, cops on campus.
How would you do on the CSAPs? I'm not sure, but schools focus on CSAPs too much. They're losing sight of just plain teaching.

Characterizetoday's students' political awareness. They're cluelessabout what's going on. When I was a student, we listened to the news, read up on things, thought about them, delved deeper. Kids today are spoon-fed and dumbed-down. They're oblivious.
Whatdo today's students have to be concerned about? The Bush administration taking their rights away, immigration, the war, America's loss of credibility throughout the world.
Is the student of todayidealistic or materialistic? They're into Xbox games, the latest clothes, and don't have one clue about anything else.
Was it better being a student in your day? Absolutely. We were more aware, socially conscious and active, andthat was fun.
Characterize today's students. Not in touch with issues. They don't seek information. They rely on the TV and the radio to give them information.
Do today's youth lean more towards idealism or materialism? They're bombarded with materialistic stuff, and they're jaded about idealism and what could be.
Would you rather be a student today, or back when you were one? I'd like to be a student back in the '60s. Education now is politically correct. Students can't be honest about the material they learn.

Are today's students materialistic or idealistic? They think the purpose of life is to gratify desire.
Would you rather be a student now, or back in your day? Students in my dayhad more time to discover themselves, not just be programmed by marketing strategies and the needs of the government.
