“I wanted to do something with me and my brother [Heath],” Chuck says. The brothers Schafer are teaming up with Chef Wayne Cooper, formerly of Prime 25.
“We want to be the place that’s not a typical sports bar,” Chuck says. He plans to build the menu from 100 percent Colorado-made ingredients. Expect pizzas, steak burgers from house-cut beef and, as mandated by the name, frog legs. Expect also 24 taps of Colorado beer, with craft brews taking center stage, as well as craft cocktails built from Colorado-distilled spirits.
