Pulp Office Concerts #5: Dave Dondero, The Changing Colors

It may be one small step for David Dondero, the only musician you've never heard of among NPR's 2006 ranking of its 10 best living songwriters. But it's definitely one giant leap for Blank Tape Records and Pulp magazine, who are co-presenting a performance by the Duluth, Minn., musician in the publication's intimate office space (120 S. Union Ave., Pueblo, Dondero is promoting a pair of brand new albums — This Guitar and Golden Hits, Vol. 1 — so he'll have no shortage of indie folk-inclined material to draw upon. Suggested donation for this 8 p.m. all-ages show is $5, with Blank Tape's own Changing Colors sharing the bill. — Bill Forman
