Over the past decade, Benjamin Pratt has created a musical genre that he describes as "aggressive dinner music," which involves improvisation, spoken word, acoustic guitar and electronic looping. It's a lot like the music playing in the VIP room of a Mexican-Moroccan fusion joint on the planet Dagobah. After meeting Christian Sequoia at a New Year's Eve party last year, Pratt began collaborating with the musical gadgeteer, whose drums and piano expand Pratt's range.
