Bedecked in plaid, fishnet, studded accessories, leather and plenty of black eye makeup, The Eyeliners (theeyeliners.com) are quintessential punk rock protgs. Joan Jett's vocal and guitar cameos loan some credibility to their latest release, No Apologies, but they've built the rest for themselves. The trio of self-taught musicians and sisters started performing and touring 10 years ago, and recently were signed to Jett's Blackheart Records. Laura (drums and lead vocals), Gel (guitar, piano and backing vocals) and Lisa (bass and backing vocals) play traditional punk rock with punchy "don't mess around with me" lyrics. The Indy recommends them only if you can do without your heart. And your teeth.
