The Peppermint Creeps look creepy, but apparently that's the idea. Their visage is a glam, punk and metal amalgamation, resulting in a black-lit, high-energy alien circus. With hot pink hair, KISS-like makeup and color-coded outfits, they set goth girls and punk dudes alike into a love-struck spin. Their lyrics don't dig very deep, focusing mainly on sex, drugs and murder. Their sound, surprisingly neither glam nor metal, is of a demented Ramones flavor -- making them a perfect match for the Mansfields tonight. Catch this punk ride into outer space with the only rockers (that we know of) who claim to be illegal clones from Mars, Year 3012. Visit myspace.com/creeps to hear a sampling of their music.
