The Fallout has got the self-promotion thing down pat. Thanks to their trusty Web site, www.thefalloutmusic.com, they have loving fans as far away as Malaysia, England and Norway. Locals Mike Villalva (vocals, guitar), Jesse Ray (bass, vocals) and Luke Hart (drums) make up The Fallout's current crew. While their day jobs include doughnut engineering and firefighting, at night they live out their rock-star dreams, doling out power pop/punk with a heavy golden-oldie influence, taking listeners back to a time when life was more simple, full of bobby-soxers and greasers, and being scared to bejesus over impending communism. Or maybe all of those things but with a lot more energy and aggression. Interestingly, both eras count an equal amount of Converse footwear. Catch The Fallout as they play their doo-woppy "Dear Jenny" ballad -- a perfect slow dance, if not for the "but most of all, fuck you" part.
