So you're still nursing an atomic-level hangover from New Year's Eve, and now an evening's entertainment consists of playing computer solitaire. Get off the couch and continue the revelry in the party land known as Pueblo as the winter series of Festival Fridays heats up 2005. Every Friday in January, the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center will showcase different bands in the Bob Jackson Conference Center. The concerts take place in a casual environment with plenty of space to sit and socialize, eat or enjoy a drink. Perhaps Mom said to wait a half hour before getting back in the pool, but at Festival Fridays, you can immediately jump onto the dance floor, disco ball included. The series kicks off on Jan. 7 with Wallace Cotton and the Rotten Forgottens, a Friday Festival perennial favorite. The 10-member band features classic R & B, funk and rock covers and originals and is more than happy to help listeners shake that booty.
