Sometimes you just gotta listen to classic rock. And for a goodly portion of Colorado Springer spaniels, that "sometimes" is whole hell of a lot of the time. So, if you just didn't get enough classic rock this past week on 98.1 KKFM and the many places where it seems to be playing in the background, why not come out to Tequila's on Friday night and party hard with one of the hardest-working local cover bands. They will cover songs like "All Right Now" by Rod Stewart. You may recognize other favorites such as "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A." by John Cougar Mellencamp or "What I Like About You" or "Shine" or "Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)" and other songs by the likes of Led Zeppelin and the James Gang. One way or another, you're bound to recognize the songs. Common Ground is comprised of John Old on lead guitar, James Beam on rhythm git, Rick Hilyard on drums, Shelby Watkins on the bass and Fritz Genato rockin' the mike. Get ready to party. Get ready to rock.
