Pikes Peak Celtic Festival

When: June 19-21 2015

Michty me, it's time once again for the tossin' of the caber and the happy quaffin' of some peaty dark Guinness at the Pikes Peak Celtic Festival, which opens today at 4 p.m. and runs through 4 p.m. Sunday. There will be brawny Highlands athletes, two stages of Celtic-themed music (from sea chanties to rock), vendors, Irish dancers, lots and lots of bagpipes, and probably a haggis or two, just because. It's all happening at Memorial Park (1605 E. Pikes Peak Ave., pikespeakcelticfestival.com), with tickets ranging from a one-day kid's pass for $5 to a weekend family pack for $15 per person to a weekend whiskey-tasting pass for $35.
