People in Places — Exploring People Within Their Environment

When: Fri., June 26, 5-8:30 p.m. 2009

When it comes to generic titles for art shows, it doesn't get any more vague than People in Places — Exploring People within their Environment. How about people in non-places, like a black hole? OK, so that qualifies as a place too, I think, but what doesn't? Whatever the title, be sure to visit Cottonwood Center for the Arts (427 E. Colorado Ave., cottonwoodcenterforthearts.com) tonight from 5 to 8:30 for its Last Friday Exhibit & Open House. The center will host two new juried exhibits — the multimedia People, and a photography show upstairs — both surely more creative in content than name. — Edie Adelstein
