What can you say about a Japanese action-comic punk band that hasn't been said before, perhaps in these very pages? Well, there's the fact that the NYC-based Peelander-Z has gone through some lineup changes: Co-founder Peelander Blue has been replaced by Peelander Green, while Peelander Red has been replaced by Peelander Purple. But these things happen. What matters most is that, after nearly two decades, these incurably animated ninja power rangers are still putting on shows as awesome as they are absurd. Will there be human bowling, giant squids and Kung Fu fighting? Who can say? But we do know there'll be fun. 7 p.m., Black Sheep, 2106 E. Platte Ave., $12/adv, $14/door, all-ages,, 719/227-7625. — Bill Forman
