“We haven’t changed it that much,” Nissa says of the renovation, still in progress when we speak. “It was really dark, and there’s low ceilings in here.” They’ve opened up the space, adding a view of the mountains, as well as building a full bar. The restaurant will open with a full lunch and dinner menu, with breakfast and brunch offerings to come in the spring. The menus were designed by chef Ruthie Poole, formerly of 719 Gastropub and The Blue Star.
Moxie will also have a full cocktail program, run by bar manager Katie Toth, a veteran of The Principal’s Office, Story Coffee, Fifty-Fifty and The Rabbit Hole. The grand opening is set for Tuesday, Jan. 2.
