Changes are coming to Mountain Metro Transit service, including frequency and rates, according to a presentation to City Council on Feb. 12.

Route 1 from Hillside to Hancock Plaza will now run every 30 minutes on Saturday, as will Route 3 from Colorado Avenue to Manitou Springs. Two routes will add 60-minute service on Sunday — Route 10, from Highway 115 to Pikes Peak Community College, and Route 19, from Weber Street to Eagle Rock. Route 32 from Security to Widefield will see 60-minute service on Saturday.

Adjustments also will be made to Route 4, which was altered during work on the Cimarron Street/Interstate 25 interchange.

All of those changes begin April 29. Starting Sept. 30, Metro Mobility clients using the fixed-route system will be charged half-fare of 85 cents.
