When: Thursdays-Saturdays, 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Continues through April 16 2016

Something wicked this weekend comes, but not the evil portended by Macbeth's three witches. In this case, it's a wickedly clever revamp of two very well known theater standards. MacHamlet: An Improbable Bromance is a Shakespearean mashup blending the bard's beloved prose and two of his most tragic characters, Macbeth and Hamlet — which is quite the match made in hell, particularly if you're of the kingly sort. Good old Bill's deeply flawed and slightly (or is it completely?) deranged fallen heroes inexplicably meet and take arms against a sea of troubles of their own making in Volume 1 of Funky's Shakespeare Mashup series, written by Roy Ballard and performed by The Funky Little Theater Co. Catch it for two weekends only and at the very frugal price of $10. 7 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8-16, 2109 Templeton Gap Road,— Bridgett Harris

Price: $10
