This program is designed to give yoga teachers and students an understanding of the functional anatomy of the hip joint and surrounding muscles. We will cover the different types of hip tightness, and how to recognize the variations. We will explore movement in the hips and learn safe alignment, modifications, and adjustments for common postures. Jen illustrates the principles of anatomy and movement, and Kari offers verbal and physical cues to help students achieve their best practice.
