Where did you go to college? The DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona.
Characterize your college experience. It was hard and a lot of work. Classes were difficult for me, and I had to have a job at the same time. It was worth it, though.
What was hardest about adjusting to college? One day I'm living with mom in Colorado Springs, the next day I'm completely on my own in Phoenix. There were no dormitories.
Where would you send a hungry student with $10? The deli section at Safeway. For five bucks, you can get anything there you'd pay double for at a fast-food place.
If you were a local college student now, where would you hang out? Downtown and Old Colorado City because of all the coffee shops and relaxing places. You can get work done and have people around, too.

What was the hardest part of adjusting to college? In high school, all you had to do was show up. Basically, you were babysat. College, though, is serious.

Where would you hang out if you were a local college student? Supernova. You can drink a beer nice and slow and play arcade games.

Characterize your college experience. I had a pretty positive experience, but I only stayed for just under a year because I wanted to travel.
What was the hardest adjustment to college life? I lacked the training and skills to succeed. I wasn't ready to write college-level papers. It was overwhelming.
What's something a beginning college student might not know about this town, but should? There's a great independent music scene, and it's becoming a flourishing place for Americana artists.
