About these values, provided by the city of Colorado Springs: The city refuses to release the land appraisals referred to here, although the open-records law allows it. Some residents dispute the assigned values. The city has ordered an appraisal review by a third party, though the review will look only at "restricted" reports on the city tracts. The city has refused to comment about that. Also, the city referred to Strawberry Fields as the "North Cheyenne Cañon Park Disposal Project" when communicating with the appraiser.
