When: Fri., Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. 2010

A guy raised in a middle-class white family finds, at age 32, that his real dad is black. In fact, his ancestors include a 54th regiment Civil War soldier, a Negro League baseball star — and a pair of still-living grandparents who can explain how he came to be separated from all of them. The kicker of this real-life story? It happened to a writer and theater professional who was willing to share it. Michael Fosberg is the man, Incognito is the title, and the Harvey House Auditorium at the University of the Rockies (555 E. Pikes Peak Ave.) is the place. The nationally touring, one-man show, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is free, but you must RSVP to 442-0505 ext. 1672. — Kirk Woundy
