Hiding Place

When: Sun., March 20, 2 p.m. 2011

Although the story of Corrie ten Boom is promisingly reminiscent of Schindler's List, it's not directed by Steven Spielberg (mostly because Spielberg directing ballet would just be weird). The dance professionals of Ballet Magnificat! and the Ballet Society of Colorado Springs present Hiding Place. This performance is inspired by the fascinating true spiritual story of ten Boom, a World War II Holocaust survivor who was sent to a concentration camp after she and her family were suspected of harboring Jews in their house. Catch the 2 p.m. show at Sunrise Church Connection Center (4005 Lee Vance View, 272-7078) for $10. — Matt Ruppert
