When: Mon., Nov. 30, 5:30-7 p.m. 2015
Deepen your understanding of military life, its costs and its sacrifices through two short films presented by the Fine Arts Center. The FAC has offered its Military Artistic Healing Program for nearly a decade now, using art as part of the healing process for veterans coming home with invisible injuries like PTSD and TBI. Healing Through Art, a film about that process by former program participant Anthony Ngo, starts at 6, followed by Military Life: On the Homefront, created by seven Colorado Springs teens from local military families.
There will be a reception at 5:30 at Library 21C (1175 Chapel Hills Drive, csfineartscenter.org/military) and the films will be followed at 6:30 by a Q&A session. Attendance is free. — Craig Lemley
