Conservatives increasingly equate their political and social positions with Christian orthodoxy, and denounce those who disagree, deviate or differ as morally spineless, inadequately patriotic and naive. What's your take?

Focus on the Family - is based on Judeo-Christian principles. -  - Is it possible to be Christian and politically liberal? - Sure. I think the media  especially the liberal - media  pushes this view that conservatives are also - Christians, and I think a lot of politicians cater to that, - too. But I don't see that reflected in the homes of all that - many Christians. -  - Why does Focus on the Family have such influence? - It offers an oasis of traditional values to people - who see a fractured society, a decentralized family, high - divorce rates and gender confusion. -  - If Jesus were here now, what would he think of - present-day politics? He was asked a lot of political - questions in his time, and it wasn't a big concern with - him. -  - What would be Jesus' focus, were he alive today? - Proclaiming the truth, unity in the church. His - mission was to bring about healing between man and - God.
