Food Truck Friday

When: Fri., April 15, 3:30-7:30 p.m. 2016

Today is Day of Silence, a student-led vow of silence to recognize the effects of anti-LGBT bullying in schools across the nation. But this year is a little different, Inside/Out Youth Services wants the community to talk about it. So consider today Food Truck Friday, hosted by IOYS, because nothing brings people together for discussion like food. A product of the group's Wednesday night cooking program, this event will feature food from The Local food truck, operated by Seeds Community Cafe, with IOYS youth working the kitchen and dishing the goods. Join your friends and allies and add to the volume of what's sure to be a "joyous racket." 3:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m., 412 S. Tejon St., food prices vary, find more info via IOYS's website or Facebook page. — Craig Lemley
