Farther North to Laughter

When: Fridays, Saturdays. Continues through Aug. 6 2016

It's always fun to cheer for the heroes and boo the villains when they come onstage, but when you do that somewhere like the Pikes Peak Center, your fellow patrons tend to respond with things like "Shut up," or "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave," or even "I swear, one more noise and I'll teach you some manners." For a more permissive audience, check out Farther North to Laughter at the Iron Springs Chateau. Cheer for valiant Mountie Dudley Dobetter and marvel at his harrowing adventures fighting villainous Snidely Backlash, relying only on his wits, his valor and U.S. Fair Use laws protecting parodies. And if that's not enough, there will be a sing-along intermission and a Broadway-themed olio to boot! Dinner times from 6 p.m., doors at 7:30 p.m., show at 8 p.m., 444 Ruxton Ave., Manitou Springs, $9.50-$31, ironspringschateau.com — Griffin Swartzell

Price: $9.50-$31
